Ice maker hasnt worked yet. New maker still not

The fridge works fine but ice maker still has not worked. Called Best Buy for the warranty and geek squad came by to replace the maker. New ice maker did not come with all the parts and is still not working. Tech assumes the fridge is the problem because the ice maker is getting water. Waiting for another trip back from the tech to try to coordinate with Whirlpool to fix the fridge. I've had the fridge for a month without getting one ice cube from the ice maker.
