Works fine but has little purpose

The Elgato weather station worked fine, was easy to set up, and the build quality was high. I also have other Elgato products that work very well. However, I returned this item because I realized very quickly that it is no more convenient than checking the local weather on a phone app such as Accuweather. It would probably pair up nicely with some of the other EVE products though if you already have some.

I researched the many available smart IR controllers before deciding on the harmony. It works fine. But because of the nature of infra-red devices, it does not work consistently accurate. This, however is not necessarily related to the quality of this product.

I researched the many available smart thermostats before deciding on the ecobee3. I have an older, not-so-energy-efficient home, and the multi-room sensors work great to keep all floors and rooms at an appropriate temperature. I plan to add more sensors for added accuracy.
