- The speakers are powered by Sony STR-DH800 receiver. I also have a Sony subwoofer in the system.
- The speakers sound very clear. They are much better than my older pair.
- However, choosing a right pair of speakers requires lots of research and its actually a factor of taste and budget. I suggest you listen to the speakers in the store (if its possible) before you buy them.
- There are better speakers out there but I am happy wits the sound I am getting with these.

How is the bass? I bought a jay bird pair costing 179, and the bass sucked so I had to return them. Also is the treble at all harsh or louder than the bass? Thanks!
They sound good, You would be hard pressed to get good lows from in ear headphones.
