This replacement interface provides navigation trigger wires and timed accessory output for replacing the factory radio. It retains the factory installed amplified audio system and rear seat entertainment (if equipped). Use with a steering wheel interface module to retain function of all factory controls. I used this interface to install a Pioneer avic-x940bt in my 2006 Mustang convertible with a factory Shaker 500 system. This harness was easy to use, came with good directions, and delivers the required 5v power on signal to keep the factory subs and amps workout popping noises at startup. This is the best choice for using an aftermarket head unit with your stock Shaker speakers and amps.
