We bought our own google home mini and loved it so much we got more to give for Christmas gifts. The sale price is perfect! We use it for music, checking weather, and you can even ask her where Santa is. (Try it, it's cute for the kids!). We also purchased smart plugs that I can just say "Hey google, turn on living Room" and whatever I have plugged in will turn on. Right now I have our Christmas tree hooked up to it and it's great to walk in the front door, say the command, and google turns it on lighting up the room to see!

We switched from cable to a streaming service and needed a reliable device to do so. We previously had a chromecast but it kept freezing or not registering. So we ended up getting the roku. The interface is super simple and is very easy to use. We haven't had any connection problems and are very satisfied.
