Teens in an oppressive society / future has become a common movie theme over the past 10 years Twilight Series, Hunger Games, Maze Runner, Divergent Series to name a few - but not since the cult TV hit Buffy the Vampire Slayer have we seen this theme presented so well. This series leans more toward Sci -Fi VS horror and is probably why I like it more than some of the others. You go kids!

Walking Dead - still very much alive

The show about the zombie apocalypse has moved from the danger of zombies to the real danger -the other survivors who will do anything to keep surviving - our now anti-heroes move from one place to another with the hope of finding some semblance of the world "before" only to find another set of challenges more deadly than the last.

The disaster film genre has been around a long time. Some of these films are so over the top that you really can't "suspend your disbelief" long enough to enjoy them. San Andreas is a keeper - it seems more realistic and has some great character development. I was surprised by how much I liked it. Give it a chance!

Die Hard returned with this movie after a long hiatus - and in my opinion is one of the best of the series. Bruce Willis and Justin Long might seem to make an unlikely pair, but it really works. Much better than the latest entry and rivals some of the earlier films from years ago....

Game of Thrones was a favorite of both my 20 something year old kids and then I decided to check it out and was hooked. Some shows on the surface may not look that intertesting but the different story lines and the key characters make it a must watch. Adult themes and content - this is not for children but a great adult adventure series.

Great value with 2 fun action movies in HD

2 fun popcorn flicks in HD. See Robin Tunney as a mountain climber who gets in trouble with her team before she got her now repeating role on TV's The Mentalist Also some great climbing footage early in the film as well. Stealth is a pretty good action movie with that frequently recurring SciFi theme about technology with a mind of its own that gets seriously out of control. Not Oscar worthy but some cheap fun nonetheless.

Great views of Hawaii from the air

Hawaii is a magical place and seeing it from ground level is pretty amazing, but this video takes you in the air to visit places and see locations from a different perspective in brilliant HD (and no air sickness bag is required). Highly recommended even for folks who have been to Hawaii many times.
