What is the difference between RGB and RCA component cables?
We have an ACER laptop that has Ohm VGA output and a Panasonic Viera TV with both component and HDMI inputs. (Not sure if either TV or computer can code/decode if we go VGA to HDMI, that is why we are looking at VGA to Component) Thanks
I know the answer. Search for a vga to component cable. This will allow the vga out (rgb) of the laptop to give a picture to the tv. Then you need a 3.5mm (headphone) to rca cable for sound. The headphone end goes into the computer, rca to the tv. Then you will have sound and picture from your computer on your tv.
