I consider Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation a MUST-OWN action title on the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray format. The movie is obviously tons of fun, laughs and action. It also has the same great early Dolby Atmos surround track as found on the original Blu-ray release, but now a minor uptick in terms of video. I would not call it night or day difference in visuals since it's not true 4K (hence only my 4-star score here), but I feel this is a title worth owning in your home media collection in its finest possible state. This is that! Sadly there are no new extras or anything pertinent to the new film this July.
This sequel to the critically acclaimed BBC series about the vast scope of life on earth. Sir David Attenborough presents this collection of UltraHD footage of deserts, jungles, mountains, grasslands, islands and more, shot with the latest technologies and showcasing a living record of our home planet's flora, fauna and geography.
Like it or not I’m going to start this 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray review of Planet Earth II off by admitting I’m not generally a fan of documentaries. Unless the subject matter really interests me I tend to find them boring and rather uninteresting. I’m sorry. I’m just wired ignorantly like that. However, if you’re and A//V enthusiast like us all here there’s no denying the special place Planet Earth holds in all our Blu-ray hearts. Back in 2006 it was one of the first television series to grace the format with its HD beauty. It showcased the possibilities of how grand HD video looked in the home front and basically gave Blu-ray (and HD-DVD at the time) a reason to exist. Now fast forward ten years and we have a new home format competing for our living rooms, 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray. Coincidentally we have a new season of Planet Earth to properly display too. So in essence there’s really no better way to celebrate the first television series on the new 4K home format than by bringing BBC’s Planet Earth II onto the scene once again. I waited until I could get this at a great price as I'm not a huge fan of this movie, but the Dolby Atmos audio and 4K video presentation are reference in my opinion. Your results may vary, but very happy with my purchase. Just an FYI some in the store with slipcovers and some without.
There's no denying the movie itself is a classic! A+ Soundtrack is also legendary! A+ Packaging of the steelbook and price I bought it for is A+ too However, and I'm watching on a 4K TV, the picture and sound even of the lossless track is subpar in my opinion. I really can't tell how this is remastered. Only other negative thing is digital copy is neither UV or iTunes so buyer beware for that.
I grabbed this on Black Friday weekend for $6. Not a bad price for a newer release on Blu-ray. While I'm not a huge fan of the film (the ending absolutely sucks), the audio and video presentation of this Warner Bros. Blu-ray is TOP NOTCH. Recommended!
If you're into a Shane Black buddy cop adventure, then this one is for you and the kiddies. You won't be disappointed. It will even crack a smile on the grumpiest of adults. Guaranteed!
My Review Summary title says it all. Angels & Demons is by no means a perfect film, far from it, but the Dolby Atmos and 4K presentation make this a perfect upgrade over the Blu-ray if you can snag it at a great price.
I am an early adopter of 4K Blu-ray so there has been little to choose from lately in home media to feed my Samsung 4K player. Luckily for me, this is how 4K is supposed to look! Spidey's suit looks absolutely amazing in 4K! The story is mediocre, but it is what it is. You want eye candy to feed your brand new 4K Blu-ray set up? Grab this at a great price and feast your eyes on stunning clarity!
Enjoy high-quality audio with this Pioneer SP-FS52 floor speaker that features three 5-1/4" polypropylene woofers and oversize magnets for powerful bass and a 1" soft dome tweeter that delivers dynamic highs.
I'm very sorry I waited so long to jump on purchasing these. I was scared off by the low price of these, but believe it or not these guys are big on sound and deliver. I use them with my Denon S710W receiver and they sound great. I am re-watching movies over and over now because of the new and improved sound! I recently got rid of my satellite front speakers in place of these full size ones. I don't regret my purchase at all! I only regret how long it finally took me to pull the trigger on buying these.

When this Blu-ray steelbook was on sale for 9.99 on May 4th, you couldn't pass it up even if you own the original trilogy on Blu-ray already. the collectable steelbook is worth the price of admission for 9.99. However, be warned. The extras are scarce on these and no Digital Copies at all. This set is very bare bones. Only get this edition if you want the collectable packaging or if you must own everything Star Wars. It's my favorite one! Emperor Palpatine!
