I really like the continuity of this animated universe, and adapting the Judas Contract to fit with it, worked really, really well. By admission, I'm a fan of Damian Wayne's and his inclusion works...despite being sidelined. So if that's your only gripe, it's still a remarkably nice update to the original storyline. And if you're new to the storyline, I think you'll be rewarded all the same.

It's a huge step up if you haven't been able to draw directly on the screen. But it's not mobile. For me, the cord lengths work perfect, I can keep it set up on my desk, or draw on the floor or couch, so long as I have a place to set my macbook off to the side. True freedom would probably be one of the higher end Cintiq tablets, but weighing the costs and new programs needed, it made sense to stick with the 13HD.
You can tweak a lot, and even make your marks start to appear a little off center if your mimicking ink brush, so I find all the options I have as nice if not better than paper.
I'm not sure I'm sold on the texture of the screen, it may take some time to get used to it, since it isn't like paper at all. Still, considering my old process it's a great time saver in the digital art realm.
I spent almost a year debating this one product after narrowing it down, and my only regret is that now i feel like I have no excuses not to draw.

While others might also want 3-d, there's a version for that, but I find that way of watching movies to get old after ten minutes. And this is not a short film. The added scenes improve upon what I view as the worst of the Hobbit trilogy.

We were always running out of room in our freezer, and got into the bad habit of going to the grocery store often. This allows us to stock up on meats and ice creams, the essentials. It is a good size for our needs, but we purchased baskets (elsewhere) so that we can keep it organized. The one basket that comes with it, is too small for most things I'd want to freeze.
We are keeping it in a garage, that usually stays 10 degrees cooler than the outside temps, it seems to be doing well and have not noticed any moisture build up, or jump in our electric bill.

I don't know the overall life span to be expected, Needed it in a pinch and the portability and easy install made the most sense out of my available options. I don't plan to use this frequently, and might not even use it of a year or more since its initial unboxing. Still, it gave us 2 weeks of cool air this summer when our heat pump broke. And we have a room that doesn't cool as well, especially when multiple people are in it. So my use is not everyday.
While the temp was always set at 70 degrees, the best it got the room temp down to was 80, but it was a cool 80 within the air being blown out, and quite pleasant considering the option of 90+ outside.
The remote is a huge plus, if i needed to turn off the fan to talk to someone on the phone it came in handy, as well as being lazy and not getting out of bed when it got too cool at night.

If you came in with hype... beware

The best way I can describe this film is if you went to see Sam Raimi's SPIDER-MAN and the movie ended when he puts on his actual final Spider-Man costume. I paid to see Spider-Man, so that's where my disappointment with THE WITCH comes from.
Yes, this is an origin story and that's where my disappointment lies because the film ended right when I thought it had finally started to kick butt.
Spoiler Alert: the horror is real, and any of the graphic horror scenes shown are terrific for horror fans and are truly visceral and memorable, but having come in with all the hype I expected a terrifying experience. But the film doesn't offer any moments of tension or suspense. It is a family drama first and foremost and that's a good strength and an intelligent strength as it examines how , a force can manipulate us when we are in a particular situation, and how we can succumb to evil even if our intentions were always what we thought were best.
I would still say this is a must-see for horror fans, it is a film worth discussing afterwards and I know I will watch it many more times. With my expectations diminished, it'll surely be more enjoyable because the production value and acting are all top notch.

Shawn and Gus wind down, the final two seasons leave a bit to be desired, as the plots seem exhausted as they try to avoid Shawn's psychic charade. But the characters and relationships are still strong, and they managed to deliver one of the best episodes of the series with a POV/Found Footage romp through the woods. Definitely worth checking out if you're already a fan.
