The game looks great and is well made, but it's despite the visual polish it's still a game from 1989 underneath. Since I didn't play the Wonder Boy games growing up there's no nostalgia for me and the overall experience leaves me wanting for some of the missing modern gaming conventions. If you liked this games as a kid or are interested in retro gaming then I'd suggest to pick it up, other wise you're probably better off passing on this one.

This case replaced an ultra slim case I had. It's a little thicker but it's still slim enough for me and it has a really nice feel to it. I do miss the individual cut outs on the back for camera and finger printer sensor on my old case, rather than the one large cut out for everything on this one but it's a small gripe.

For some reason I had a hard time getting into the first Xenoblade Chronicles on the Wii. I still liked the first game but I wasn't able to stick with it long enough to get sucked in.
I don't have the same issue with this game. I jumped right in and immediately racked up 60+ hours. There's so much to do that I'm sure I'll be putting in 200 or 300 before I'm done, especially since they just released New Game + in a game update and there's DLC too! I'm sure for those that aren't completionists that you can get through the story much faster than I am so don't worry if you're not interested in putting hundreds of hours into a game just to see the story.

For me, this game is up there with Super Mario World, Super Mario 64, and Super Mario Galaxy. The controls are sharp and intuitive and there's tons of content in the game. The only potential downside is that it's not a very challenging game. I wouldn't have minded having some more difficult portions for late game moon collecting but the game is so fun as it is, and it's not overly easy, that I don't mind moving to another game if I want a real challenge.

Very good but with some faults

There's a lot to like about the Switch. It's got Nintendo's nearly always stellar games, the console and controllers use USB C to charge instead of some expensive proprietary cable, it's portable and a home console.
However, it's got it's problems too. The battery life isn't quite as long as I'd like it to be and even though it uses USB C many phone chargers that you have lying around the house will charge it slowly or, if you're playing it, not at all because of the higher power demands. While Nintendo does put out great games, they don't have a ton of them and I've been struggling to find things to play that aren't re-releases of games I have on the Wii-U or other systems. It's also expensive. If it weren't for the faults I've already listed I would say $300 is fine for the console itself, but that's not the only pricey part of this system since you are also going to need controllers and games. Many of you will already know that Nintendo's games very rarely get discounted, Smash Bros 4 (released 11/14/2014) and Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD (released 3/4/2016 and is a HD remaster of a game from 2006) both for the last generation Wii U are still $60, so you can't just wait a few months to save on games like with other consoles. On top of that the wireless pro-controllers, which I believe are a necessity for most games, are $70! You can usually find the Pro Controllers for $65 but both PS4 and Xbox One controllers can easily be had for under $50.
Overall, I would recommend it as long as you've got the money to spare and won't mind if you run out of games to play on it for a bit while waiting for something new to come out, especially if you play a lot.

The light on the charger is bright blue when the phone is charging and it's not easy to cover up because the outter layer of the charger is translucent and diffuses the light through a large portion of it. If you don't mind having a bright blue light when charging your phone then it's a great charger. If you want it to charge your phone while you sleep you probably want to skip it.

I have a G700 that was my favorite previously but bought the G502 Proteus Spectrum on sale and loved it instantly. I picked this G502 Proteus Core up during the Black Friday sale so I could have one at work and at home.
For anyone wondering, the only difference between the Spectrum and the Core is color. The Spectrum is black where the Core has the blue stripe on the thumb rest and the Spectrum has an RGB light in the G while the Core's light is just blue. Everything else is the same.
