Troublesome

Only worked when plugged into my phone, not my computer. Sound comes out weird, almost as if cloudy sounding. Thought this product would work for my odd ear shape, but had trouble fitting it in my ear canal without it folding.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

is the sound quality really amazing?! and is it very durable?

No it sounds very cloudy due to the gummy tube part. As long as you don't cut the cords, twist it too hard, or pull on the ear pieces, its pretty durable.
