I've tried all the different streaming boxes for TV at this point, and the Roku line remains my clear favorite. It hits that perfect sweet spot between features, cost, and ubiquity that a device like this needs to find. Really, the only issue that I ever saw with it was cost. Well guess what, not so much an issue anymore! The Roku Express definitely doesn't have the kind of power that its bigger siblings do. You're not going to push 4K on this thing, or have much fun at all playing games on it. But it's got all the basic features you need for a solid streaming experience, support for wi-fi remotes (even though it doesn't come with one) and a rather clever system to mounting it to your TV to provide a pickup for the IR remote. All the cables you might need are included, as well as the adhesive strip to attach it to the TV, and it's a rather unobtrusive little device once it's on. Performance is maybe a hair slower than the larger Roku devices, but I could only tell when I was really looking for it. All in all, unless you've got an absurdly nice TV or a desire to play games with the thing, this is a great little unit.

Canon ink cartridges tend to be physically smaller and cheaper than a lot of their counterparts since they have the print heads in a separate module. I do appreciate that there's an XL version to give you the extra capacity as well. I'd definitely recommend this over refilled or off-brand cartridges - it's very easy to mess those up and destroy your printer.
Philips hue A19 426353 Starter Kit: Experience home lighting in a new way by adjusting colors, timers, alerts and more from your phone. The bulbs and bridge work with your Wi-Fi to let you create mood-setting color schemes, enjoy perfect reading light, or maintain an automatic schedule while you're vacationing.
The bulbs are bright, the light produced is very pleasant and well diffused, and the different lighting channels blend perfectly through the glass diffusion bulb. These are hands down the best quality smart lights I have tried yet. As for the software, the android app I used is a little basic but quite passable. And best of all is that it has links to tons of alternative open source apps that were developed to run the system, including effect generators, alternative controllers, or soundboards. In terms of energy efficiency, the bulbs are also stellar. Obviously you are going to be using a bit more power to run the transceiver than a typical dumb bulb, but with the built in dimmer, geofencing options, and timers the system has actually ended up consuming less power than the previous LED's of comparable brightness I'd had installed. Since getting the starter kit, I've already bought 2 more bulbs to expand my system, and eventually I'd like to rewire the entire house with them.

I picked this thing up after my last laptop died and I needed a replacement right now. I wasn't expecting to get much... but I was blown away by how much I actually love this thing. The screen is easily it's best feature - full 1920x1080 resolution looks gorgeous, and I was surprised to find I actually prefer the wireless detachable keyboard to the standard snap on approach. It allows me a lot more freedom to work and type, greatly appreciated as I'm a writer by profession, and has a good feel to it that you don't usually get with devices of this type. And the addition of the highly accurate and customizable pen is a great perk as well! That said, the keyboard is also one of the downsides. I have noticed that it has a tendency to occasionally lose connection with the tablet, and once that happens really the only way to fix it is to either put it to sleep and bring it back or turn the keyboard receiver on and off in settings. This can be very annoying at times, but ultimately is manageable. The other issue, however, is heating. This thing was built very thin, and it's only got one exhaust on it in the upper left corner. Heat in this area is quite noticeable, and can get quite uncomfortable as it's one of the areas you'd usually be holding during regular operation (at least if you're right handed like myself.) Overall, however, I'd recommend this machine. It's a solid design and a good performer for the price.

What's great about it: Amazing screen, good battery life, surprisingly fast
What's not so great: Keyboard can occasionally lose connection, can get a little hot to hold at times.

Does the Roku Express come with a voice-activated remote because I just got the roku express and the people at Best Buy told me it had a voice-activated remote
It does not. In fact it comes with what's probably the least impressive remote of the bunch - just a simple IR remote like you'd get with any TV, no wi-fi, audio port, or voice pickup.

Nope. In fact, if you have one you're not likely to get much use out of this. This is basically all the "smart" features of a TV packed into an external unit so that you can turn any screen into a smart TV.

will itunes run smooth with this processor?
I mostly use my laptop for basic programs but wanted to make sure that iTunes would be able to run smoothly on the tap 11's lower end processor.
I've had no problems running 1080p video content on mine, there's no reason I can think of that iTunes would bog it down.
