This tv is the best! The only downside hince the reason I didn't give it five stars is because the volume isn't too loud. When I asked the geek squad about it they said the speakers where turned facing the wall, causing it to make it quieter. The resolution was to buy another $400 sound bar! So I did

Are you able to set DVD so that it plays on repeat (once it's done it automatically starts over)?
It automatically does it anyways. Once sitting idle for a short amount of time it plays from the root menu

Yes. We have it plugged into a ignition powered source and it always resumes.
