I thought I'd give a GoPro a shot for a our family vacation. It's easy to use, takes consistently good videos and photos, but because it's setup primarily for fast-moving, I don't think it's practical for taking regular vacation shots.

Disappointed with the product and the service

Thought it would be worth the $40 saved to get a "Geek Squad Certified" model. Well, glad I set it up a few days before Christmas, before wrapping it up for our daughter.
It booted up quickly but it had someones name on the Win 8 login screen. Seriously? Was unable to login, as you would expect.
So, after seven calls of being transferred/dropped by reps, finally got someone to send me a new one.... So I thought.....
What they sent me was another used one from another part of the country. Wasn't even a "Geek Certified" version.
I only noticed this when I received the e-mail'd invoice, as the rep on the phone said it would be NEW. I called and told them to keep it, they said it was too late, which I can understand.
So, I left a note on door for my UPS guy that I was refusing the item.
Ended up going with a DELL that was a little more but works great.
