I never buy protection plans because most things seem to outlive them, but sent my wife to pick up a $200 router for me and she decided to buy it... I gave her a hard time about it... Well, a year and a half later, I had to eat my words... As I walked out of the store this weekend with my free replacement router, she reminded me that she had bought the replacement plan... No hassles... In this case, I was wrong... she made a good decision and it paid off for us...

This router has provided great connectivity in our home. We have almost 5000 sq ft over two floors and a finished basement. I haven't found a dead spot yet and also have a good signal on my front porch, back porch, side deck, etc.
I've got 2 TV's streaming exclusively, plus 2-3 computers and 2-3 phones connected simultaneously with no issues. I wanted a router that would cover my whole house without having to add access points and this thing has worked flawlessly so far.
But... inexplicably, this weekend I lost my internet signal... I had internet coming into my modem, but not out of my router... followed all the troubleshooting steps to no avail... luckily, I had the 2 year replacement plan... took to back to Best Buy, got a replacement, plugged it in and all is fine again... No idea what might have happened to the first one. It had lasted well over a year with no issues...

Bought this for my wife who works from home. She needed a scanner and printer. I've always chosen laser printers in the past b/c of long term savings on ink, but with the need to print in color and scan, this seemed like a better value. Overall, we have been satisfied. Wireless printing has worked well and the ability to connect and print from our phones and tablets has also been a great feature. Still don't like buying ink all of the time, so miss the laser in that regard, but otherwise, this has done what we needed.
