Great All Rounder

I bought this basic bundle for 629 USD on black Friday.
The M3 7Y30 is supper capable for what it is. The device is snappy and even with its low RAM of 4GB I can have multiple tabs open on the browser (RAM HOG), multiple adobe PDFs, Word Documents, and many other programs without a lot of slowing down. If the device is plugged in, it’s certainly a lot snappier and if you use Intel XTU you can see that it goes from 4.5 Watt to 15 Watt, allowing the CPU to reach its maximum GHz without throttling. I have tuned it using XTU to under-volt it and that way I can keep the temperature down and the battery life a bit longer. Overall the battery life is excellent. I chose the M3 over the i5 due to battery life and cost. The i5, 4GB, 128GB won’t be a lot faster due to its limited RAM, and if I went with the i5, 8GB, 256GB (Ideal set up for the i5), it would have been a lot more money. I already have multiple machines, so this one was purely for portability and now raw power.
Goods
-Battery life
-Screen (Bright and Clear with minimal light bleed)
-Power to portability ratio
-Type cover is pretty nice
-Portability
-Quality
Bads
-I have not found any yet, well maybe the price outside of a deal!

Great Machine for the Price!

Got this machine on sale for 899.99 plus tax (Including the student discount). So an excellent deal in my opinion.
Pros: Great CPU/GPU Combination. The RX580 handles a lot of games very nicely. I have the FPS locked at 60Hz and FALLOUT 4 never dips below that in ULTRA (All settings, including God Rays). I have played other demanding titles, but not as demanding as FALLOUT 4 is on this GPU, since the engine favors NVIDIA usually. The 1050ti, I had was getting only 35 FPS on the same settings. The RX580 falls between the 1060 and the 1070, on some titles the 1060 might be slightly faster, but not by much!

There are zero professional or any other type of reviews for this machine. Its a mystery in the market.
The screen is pretty descent. Its not as abysmal as the 15 inch Omen. That thing is garbage. The 17 inch is a CMN1738 which depending on which review you read it has 310 nits of brightness and covers on average 95% sRGB and around 60% aRGB. So while not great for photo or video editing, its pretty nice for most applications.
Cons: For the price there are very little cons. If any the battery life is abysmal, but that is expected from this type of machine. I really cannot put this thing down. Another thing it’s the weight, but what to expect? Ohh, you need a pretty big bag pack to fit it in, but its not as bad as an Alienware.
Others: I was hoping for TB3, but for 900 bucks what can I ask for. Lack of M.2 are easily fixed, same with the 12GB of RAM. The 7200 RPM drive is actually livable. I miss my SSD speeds, but I am buying an M.2 NVMe SSD soon to alleviate that lack of speeds.
1200 bucks still not a bad deal, but for 900 it was an excellent deal and hard to pass.
I didn't give it five stars because I believe its appropriate for the regular 1199.99 price, but if anything I will say this is a 4.5 machine for the price I got it for.

Not even appropriate for mentally gifted!

$600 watch that SEEMS to be able to show and monitor everything BUT requires a manual printed for Liliputians who have hours to waste. Further, it seems the watch must be plugged into your computer every 3 days or its power dies -- WITH NO WARNING! I tried to set it up to measure my workout on an elliptical machine, and it seems to show how many miles I swam! Sometimes a $25 Timex may be better

You might not be as gifted as you think.

I have used the manual ONCE, and that was to find an obscure function. Maybe you need to go back to buy a TIMEX and stay away from smart watches. Also you bought this to track the elliptical? Seriously?
