This external USB attached disk is EZ to use and the included backup software is also EZ to use. The description for this disk is for a desktop PC but I use it to back up my two laptops too. It is small enough to be portable as long as you have access to a 120v outlet. It is not USB powered.

I use this headset for work because I'm on the phone a lot and I don't like ear buds. Good sound and the other listener can hear me good too. I also use it to listen to music. Good sound for that too. I like that it's bluetooth so there are no wires to get in the way while I'm working.

Local access, is it direct or via internet?
I have a similar device on my network at home but when accessing files from it whilst on the same network, I have to log in through the web application. Does this device provide local access directly to the drive(s) through the network or does it go through a web application also?
This is an internal drive. It doesn't go through a network. The interface is SATA not ethernet or wireless
