I replaced a 32" wide screen tv with this 55" smart TV. I chose the 55" because it was suggested by a Best Buy employee after I told him my distances for viewing. At first I thought I had an overkill but as I got used to it I see that it was the perfect size for my situation. I don't have much for all of the 'smart' apps but I my in the future. Also, it is a 4K Ultra HD unit so it is perfect for future upgrades to TV channels.

A great adventure film!

I purchased this disc because I had seen Jaden Smith in other films and thought he did an excellent job acting. There is a lot of suspense during the entire film. It stars his father, Will, too, but Jaden is the real star. It actually has two themes but I won't disclose them before you watch it. It is a father and his son getting together.

This is my first Blu-ray player and I got it because I had some Blu-ray discs and wanted to see the difference between them and those I had on DVD. At first, I did not notice a difference but then it dawned on me how great these Bd's are! I only wish I had gotten Wi-Fi only to connect it to the internet to update it. Of course, I can do it manually.

Great computer at such a low price

It's been 7 or 8 years since I purchased a new computer and I was using XP which is very good! However, that is way out of date and I was unsure of getting a new operating system. This one came with Windows 8.1 installed and I really liked it. With the purchase I was able to upgrade to Windows 10 for free. So far, it is as good as, or better than, Windows 8.1. This is a great computer for someone who only wants to do personal finance, get email, or just surf the web! I would encourage anyone who needs a computer for these tasks to consider this model. Although I have read where others have had bad experiences with HP, that's the one company I would recommend as I have had NO problems with their equipment. Yes, it suits me fine!

Player not reading data dvds
I have some home movies on dvd that played great on my old dvd player. There not reading or playing on this player. Is it broke? Please Help!
I have this same player and have had no trouble with it. Perhaps you need to update it. Go to page 12 in the Simple Manual and follow the directions in Software Update. If you need to use USB memory be sure to use the URL specified there. It is http://www.sony.com/bluraysupport/
