Not a fan of Apple's decision to remove the 3.5 mm headphone jack, but I'm getting used to it. This adapter is essential if you purchase an iPhone 7, which does come with one. And having a second adapter is advisable. I have an older vehicle which only has an input jack with no Bluetooth. This adapter is the fix for that, and I can tell that the audio is better quality when using lightning port connected earbuds. The other issue I had was I find myself often charging my phone while I am listening with earbuds, but there's a fix for that, too. Belkin makes a splitter that gives you two lightening ports which you can use to charge and listen -- with this included adapter, of course. I will get used to this... Search for "Belkin MFI Lightning Audio + Charge"

Love this band. I am a runner, and this band has solved two issues I had with the stock black rubber wrist band. First, this band breathes. I don't end up with a bunch of sweat under the band, and, second: I can tighten it just right so the heart monitor actually keeps track of my heart rate while running.
