I like this item. I was concerned that it would be difficult to line-up the lightning charger connector with the Apple Smart Battery Case when mounting, but it pretty much falls in place every time. The only complaint I would have is when I place the watch on the inductive charging stand, the watch always wants to rotate a bit to the right, so it's not square while charging. If you have a different band (metal), I'm sure you would have no problem here.

I understand that you have to have a home network but,Do you have to always have an internet connection in order for this to work?
To control your Philips lights from your iPhone or your Google Voice, you definitely need a wi-fi network. The base kit comes with a wall switch that communicates on another frequency, so if you only use the switch to turn on and off your lights, I believe you DO NOT need a wi-fi network.
