For fans who have been around since 2003's Take this to Your Grave and 2007's Infinity on High, AB/AP represents the next step in the evolution of Fall Out Boy. The lead single, centuries, is actually one of the weaker songs on the album, though there aren't really any truly weak songs on the album. FOB actually seems to have gotten a little faster and louder in their old age. There aren't a lot of songs, but what's here is truly delightful. For fans of FOB ballads, "jet pack blues" is a welcome change of pace. Don't be surprised to hear some of the songs on this album in sports stadiums over the next year or two.
This movie is great, particularly if you follow true crime, were in your late teens or early 20s during the late 90s and early 2000s, or have any interest in the Jesse James Hollywood story. Timberlake is actually a decent actor in this flick. It's got the great Emile Hirsch, an up-and-coming Anton Yelchin, and my goofy favorite Shawn Hatosy (from The Faculty fame). Also includes Bruce Willis and Sharon Stone in a fat suit. Seriously. Breakout performance by Ben Foster, and a cameo from boxer Fernando Vargas.
