Great monitor for a great price

This was a great buy at around $100. We use it to supplement our 2in1 laptops when we want to use them like a desktop. The resolution is awesome for the web, Office products, Google, email, etc. Can connect with HDMI or VGA, so we can use for our various ages of laptops. We don't use it for gaming, so I can't comment on how good it would be for that. But videos play nicely.

Great Laptop, but having a major issue

I would rate this a 4.5/5, but will give it a 1/5 unless the login issues get resolved. I will start with my evaluation of the product which warrants a 4.5, then explain why my current rating is 1/5.
Great price of $550 at BB and worth every penny. The backlit keyboard is a must. The keys feel really good. You have to press down somewhat hard, but it has the best feel of all the 2 in 1's that I have tried. The Solid State hard drive with Windows 10 loads up within seconds, even after being completely shut down. The 8GB of ram is plenty for web usage and other basic programs. The screen has a nice resolution. I would prefer a 14" or 15". But, the 12" is compact, portable, and perfect for the kids. If I need a bigger screen, I just use the HDMI port to connect to the 22" High Def Dell monitor I bought from BB for $100. This laptop is extremely versatile and a great buy.
Now, the frustration. After working awesome for 3 weeks, I received an error message upon login "Can't connect to Group Policy Client". The only way to log on was the administrative local account. The operating system was so corrupt that I couldn't even access the Recovery menu in the System Settings to try to get a restore point. I had to boot in safemode and completely restore to the factory settings. I spent hours reloading programs and re-setting up profiles for the family. Three weeks after the complete restore, the same thing happened. Ugh! Extremely frustrating. I don't know any other brand of computers having problems like this with Windows 10. So, my only conclusion at this time is that something is wrong with the Toshiba product. Unless this issue gets resolved, I will leave my review at a 1 and recommend that you don't buy the product. Very sad, because I really love the computer when it is working.

Great Fridge, Good balance of features

This is a great fridge. Its by far the most we've ever paid for one, but it has been well worth it. The Best Buy salesman pointed out that the 25cu ft and 30.7 ft have essentially the same outer dimensions. We coughed up a few hundred extra dollars without needing any additional room between the cabinets. The extra room has been great for our growing family. We really like the multiple storage drawers both in the refrigerator and freezer sections. It really helps keep things organized, and we don't lose/forget food in the freezer any more.
LG's design for the water and ice maker is brilliant. The water dispenser is separate, and is contained outside of the indentation for the ice maker. This allows you to fill any size water bottle or even a pitcher. Although, the indented section for the ice maker is larger than most. All of our water bottles fit under the ice dispenser without having to angle them. As a result, we don't have ice pieces all over the floor like most other models. We have brand new GE's at work that make a mess.
The temperature seems very consistent throughout. Our old fridge would freeze items that were way in the back. I saw a lot of reivews that complain about the ice maker clogging up. That has only happened to us once in three months. Even so, it was really easy to break up the pieces again (about 20 seconds). BTW it makes ice cubes that look like miniatures of the old fashioned ice "cube" trays. These are much better than the half moon ones that seem to clog between your lips when you are trying to drink. Many reviews complained about the rate of making ice cubes. It keeps up with our family of five. It doesn't keep up with parties, but you just need to plan ahead and either buy a bag our make cubes for a day or two in advance. Its a trade off. We feel the few times the ice cubes ran out during parties is offset by the additional space gained because the maker only takes up minimal space on the door.
One last item, the fridge is very quiet. We barely can hear it run. Same for our new LG dishwasher.
I would have a hard time paying retail price for this fridge, but at just over 2,000, we feel it was well worth it.
