It worked great for snapping pictures, but it shorted out my LCD screen on the camera and made it unable to review any pictures on the monitor screen or to see the camera's menu screen. It cost me $289.00 to have my camera repaired. And yes, it was the proper one listed to be compatible for my camera. It was the Bower RCRN3 3 in 1 Reflex Wireless remote.
What's great about it: Not very good instructions
What's not so great: It shorted out my camera's LCD screen
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
