Laptop is a beast! Almost bought a Macbook Pro. Less than half the price than the Macbook, has a newer i7 processor, 4gb less ram..but 12gb of ram is plenty for whatever you use it for. Touchscreen and tablet convertible. This is a great laptop, performance and look wise.

It's the curve, not the screen protector

This is literally my fourth screen protector for the Galaxy S7 Edge. This one seems to hold on the best so far. As long as you don't keep pulling a case off and on, it will stay put. My wife's started to lift, but she swaps cases. The curve of the screen and the way cases sit right on the edge of it, cause screen protectors to lift, so it's a tough battle.....STILL!

Can the RAM be upgraded from 12GB to 16GB?
It isn't really user friendly on upgrades. The real question is why do you need 16gb of ram? 12gb of ram is plenty for whatever you plan on using it for. The processors are current gen, so thats a plus.

Is this HP Envy good for gaming use?
Probably better off going with the 17 inch version. It has a better graphics processor. The 15 inch comes with intel iris, not really a gaming processor.

Are these Battery powered? If so what is the expected battery life.
Yes, CR123, 4 per camera. Life of batteries depends on motion detection settings, manual viewing, recording, and distance from base station. Also temp plays a role too, but mines are holding life good in the heat, don't know about the cold YET. I'm gonna say 3-6 months, depending on the above info. 1 of mine lasted 3, another lasted 4, the other 3 are still going.

Nope. Need the base station connected to a router with internet connection.

Has anyone used these in Minnesota or like Winter climates Negative degrees Fahrenheit in January & in July 90's with High Humidity

As for rechargeable batteries, you could buy your own, but they will never last as long as disposable. A solar recharging system sounds good, but what about if they are indoor or just not in direct sunlight.
