These alkaline batteries have a long shelf life, letting you stock up now without worrying about low performance later. Keep a variety of devices powered up with these Insignia AAA batteries. At first I was not sure that I would like the sides on this mouse (Logitech M325-silver); it took a few days to get used to the rubberized material (or whatever it is), but now I really like it. I also have gotten used to how sensitive the wheel is (or perhaps my older Logitech mouse was just that, old), but I definitely like this mouse and will buy another if/when needed and the price is right. The pic makes it look light blue, but it is definitely silver.

A couple of points of interest. The interior light DOES come on whenever the door is open (not just while cooking), best part of that is if you leave the door open (for example to let steam escape), the light automatically goes out after a minute or so. There seemed to be a lot of complaints abt the control panel not being backlit and difficult to read/see; we have never even seen a panel that is backlit (guess we don't get out much), just the time/cooking display lights up and it is very visible. We are not that impressed w/the "sensor" cooking technology, which cooks based on the amt of steam coming from the item being cooked; it never seems to be quite enough time, so we just enter the desired amt of time vs. letting the m'wave figure it out (but this feature was NOT a must have, it was "just there"). While the "I'm done" beeper does continue to beep like every minute or so after it's done, that's kind of a neat feature in case you didn't hear the initial beep (for example, if you're outside flippin' steaks or in the basement folding clothes, you might not hear it, so a 2nd, or even 3rd chime is kind of nice). We weren't quite sure we'd like the stainless exterior (only the front is actually stainless, the top/sides are painted gray/silver), but it goes nicely w/the stainless fridge and yes... they both show fingerprints, but as grandparents, we've grown to appreciate those! Overall, we really like the m'wave and hope it lasts many, many years!

We researched and researched looking for a fridge to replace our 11yr old side-by-side Whirlpool and finally settled on this LG bottom freezer version. Love the LED interior lighting; love how deep it is; love the flexibility of shelf placement on the door, as well as the interior; love how the stuff we use the most is at eye level; love that the baskets in the freezer are "full plastic" vs. wire baskets that allow stuff to fall through; we have yet to run out of ice; it runs quietly except that the ice maker makes kind of a whining sound as it turns out the ice (I think it's an odd "binding" noise but all other family mbrs think it's normal, so who am I to question it?); the only negative thing I can say about it is the front of it is NOT magnetic. We kept a TON of stuff on the front of our old fridge, so we're having to adapt to that (no pics of g'kids, coupons, grocery lists etc); but overall we love this fridge!!

Does interior light come on when door opens?
I assume that there is an interior light for when the unit is heating; i want interior illumination when the door opens, so as to check contents.
Yes, the interior light comes on whenever the door is open. The best part of that is if you leave the door open for a time, like to allow steam to escape after cooking, the light will automatically shut off after a few minutes.
