Batman: The Killing Joke -Choking on the big stage

Batman: The Killing Joke certainly has its moments, but ultimately the film adaptation of the graphic novel suffers from a completely unnecessary prologue and a main story that was rather forgettable in the first place.

While, the chemistry between Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill is as strong as ever. However, with the addition of thirty minutes of criminals drooling all over Batgirl, the two segments play out like two unrelated episodes of the animated series slapped together at the last minute to make a half-assed movie. The animated film has a few stand out moments, but is otherwise devastatingly disappointing.
