This film is a continuation, in a sense, of the first 300 film. The battles on the film occur at a slightly different time from the original 300 film but the timelines intertwine. The visual style is similar to the first with highly detailed action scenes and a lot of blood spilling. The story rattles off in a different way from the first film to keep the viewer interested. The 2nd disc has about 1 1/2 to 2 hours of extras that give behind the scenes views of the making of the film and the historical background of the film.
I have so far watched two of the three films in this package. They are highly styled films of action/drama and are about an ongoing war between vampires and werewolves. As the films progress the viewer learns more about the history of what is going on...(I'll stop here for spoilers). DVD's come with some extras that I have not watched yet. Films are close to or over two hours long. I recommend these to anyone who is a fan of this type of movie.
This bone chilling release from the horror series Penny Dreadful includes every episode of the show's second season, following characters in Victorian England through many terrifying, sexually disturbing horrors.
Season 1 brought us otherworldly séances, walks among the living dead and the violence of the Frankenstein monster, as well as other blood tickling things....all done in elaborate settings of historical England. Season 2 should continue to entertain through this vein.

This device was easy to hook up with a USB 2 cable. (note: you should unplug the cable when not being used because device heats up). There are cable connections that go to my VCR (3 rca's). The software installed quickly enough and I started recording a VCR tape. The problem is that the VCR tapes are relatively old and already not in good shape and even though the software has "fixing" features on it, the final 2hour DVD's I burned came out pixelated at times and having poor focus on the non-close-up scenes from the VCR tape. I still am not sure whether I should put less data on a DVD disc or try more "fixing" with the software. I am still working with this.... Good luck, if you buy this....
This album sounds a lot like David Gilmour music/Pink Floyd. The only disappointing thing is that the album seems to be almost cut short at around 40 minutes. In my opinion, it should have ran at least 60 minutes so the listener could enjoy the relaxing music longer. Other than that, Ray LaMontagne continues to successfully make really good music with obvious musical influences from early Classic rock. I like this album a lot but I can't say I totally "get it." (I.e.-making music that sounds a lot like someone else's).
My sister used to have one of their albums when we growing up in the 1970's. I purchased this cd based on this mostly. I did not realize that EWF had so many hit songs that I've heard on the radio and other places. They get funky and get mellow, at times. Great purchase!!
With 250 cd/m² brightness and support for up to 1920 x 1080 resolution, this Samsung S22C300HS 21.5" LED monitor provides high-definition images for enhanced movies and video game graphics. VGA and HDMI inputs offer flexible connectivity options.
This monitor replaced a ten year old Compaq monitor that was smaller and not flat screen. This monitor is over two times wider than the old monitor which is a great improvement in viewing websites and software, as well as, software. Though not the brightest monitor at the store, the off-white background is resting to the eyes. I highly recommend this. Also, the monitor comes with software but I did not go on the website to download updates to use the software so I do not use it. The screen menu seems adequate enough.
I own only four Prince albums (1999, Around the World, PR and Symbol). This is easily my favorite. On Purple Rain his standard song writing patterns all fall perfectly into place to make this unified piece, outstandingly. For those unfamiliar with typical Prince albums, you will hear R&B, Funk, electric-guitar rock and some creative synthesizers all working to get you up and dancing. I highly recommend this album, especially at the discount price here ($5).
The critics have deemed several of the Simple Minds albums from the last twenty years or so (they started in the 1970's) as unspectacular. This album ranks as good as the "Graffiti Soul" album, being a most recent comparable project. Many of the songs are very well developed melodically, leaving the scrutinizing listener very satisfied. The sound is as up-to-date as their recent albums. I would highly recommend this album to any new fans or listeners even slightly interested in getting to know the Simple Minds. They cannot go wrong here. Also, this edition comes with a bonus CD with some interesting covers and other good songs not on the original album (reflected in price differences). The Bonus DVD does not play on Region 1 DVD players, but the cost was lowered to reflect this obstacle. Anyway, this is a really good album. I highly recommend it to all.
These Sennheiser OCX 685i headphones' ear clips ensure comfort during long listening sessions and provide a secure fit, so you can enjoy your favorite tunes through the headphones' high-output drivers. The water-resistant design ensures durability.
I bought these plugs for my MP3 player. The sound quality is good. I particularly bought them for the ear clips that keep them on my ears. The clips are a flexible rubber that does not hold rigidity but still work. They came with 3 pairs of rubber ear plugs of various sizes. The left ear plug does not stay in my ear despite having changed the size of the rubber plug. Overall, these are good (and somewhat water resistant I think-check the box to make sure).
