its the video card you have to worry about not the display for the most part.

I am going from a 22 to a 27 inch monitor...Do I need to upgrade my video card? My PC is about 6 years old with Windows 7 on it
No, you should be fine you might need a adapter if you use dvi only but not likely.

I would like to use the mornitors(2) to connect with I MAC27" which use thunder bolts port to connect, what acessories else do I have to use in order to connect all 2 mornitors and i IIMac.

no its not a tv the usb is a hub ex of your computers usb.

Must I connect both the HDMI and the USB to my laptop to make the monitor work?
No, just one video cable and the power plug.. if you want the usb to act as a usb hub then yes
