Great external HD for the money

This is a nice external hard drive for the money. I bought the 3TB for Mac, and am pleased - no issues.
I don't mind that it has an external power supply - in fact I wonder if it might be better to not draw power from the computer.
I'm sure that there are some high quality hard drives out there that cost a lot more, but I would, and will, continue to buy Seagate external hard drives to protect my data. I have a couple of WD units as well, and they also continue to give me good service.

Can I back up my WD MyBook and my Mac Mini to this Seagate?
MyBook is almost full and my Mac Mini internal drive is full, can I back both up to the Seagate?
Since the Mac Mini has a USB connection, you should be able to back-up files to the external Seagate HD.

Can I back up two different Macs, both using Time Machine, onto this one hard drive?
I'm confident that the answer is "yes". I have a WD external HD and have backed up three Macs to it using Time Machine, with a different folder for each Mac.
