Brad Paisley is running true to form here. Great guitar playing and smooth vocals. Not my favorite of Brad's body of work, but still a great addition to my collection.
This dual pack features the smash hits The Davinci Code and its sequel Angels & Demons. Both films are adapted from author Dan Brown's controversial best-selling novels about a powerful secret that's been kept under wraps for thousands of years. Both films are directed by Ron Howard and star Tom Hanks as Professor Robert Langdon, the most respected symbologist in the United States, who uses his knowledge to piece together clues that put him on the trail of an international conspiracy involving the Catholic Church.
Movie adaptations of books are always difficult, and making good movies of these two is very much a herculean task. But Tom took a multi-faceted character and gave a tremendous performance in both movies.
What else is necessary to say? Classic Eagles sounds. Always a pick me up at any time of day. Loved Glenn and company since I first heard them many, many (lol) years ago. Brings back memories of a simpler life and times.
One of the best movies not only of the year...but of the decade! Matt Damon is fantastic in this. Just the right blend of terror, suspense and a bit a wry sarcasm and humor blend to make this a fantastic movie event!
Listen to your music in comfort with these Sony EX Series MDREX15LP/B headphones that feature hybrid silicone earbuds in 3 sizes for a comfortable, custom fit. The 9mm dome-type drivers and high-energy neodymium magnets provide lush, clear sound.
Bought these for my wife. She comes in, goes to FB and listens while I'm watching TV. So it was a life and marriage saving purchase. lol Really though, these work very well. Comfortable for her to use. And the soft, multi size covers are a plus. I'm actually thinking of getting a set for me.
I really didn't expect too much of this movie. Just another attempt to cash in on a franchise. But I was wrong. This was great. The cinematography was excellent. Even the darker scenes had depth and clarity, and we know that is the weakness of most movies today. The acting was great, Oliver Pratt gave a better performance than in Guardians of the Galaxy. I've watched it twice already, and plan to go again this weekend.
Personally, I like the 7th and likely final installment of the F&F franchise. Yes it contained even more outrages car stunts that really make you strain to believe them. Like the para-drop sequence. Visually cute, and effective for the movie, but in an effort to do bigger and wilder stunts; I thought this was a bit overdone. I mean the building crashing stunt was gripping and all, but it was done in Black Moon Rising, and I expected a bit more. Acting was about par for the previous movies, so it was acceptable, if a bit more juvenile than ever. But the end sequence, as a tribute to Paul Walker was the best part of the movie. I confess with all the hype over his death, and leaving the movie unfinished, I really didn't know what to expect. But it was well done and in very good taste. A very good way to pay respects and finish the movie.
I was pleasantly surprised by this movie. It's a new take on the zombie theme lately. A father watching and waiting for his daughter to become a zombie. Arnold was okay, but the daughter steals every scene.
Sharlto Copley doing the voice of Chappie was excellent. His mannerisms and movements came thru very well. Cameo by Sigorney Weaver was very good. Hugh Jackman was far underutilized in his role. Anyone could have done it and been just as good in the character.
Additions to the movie, ie the extras were very good.
