Works fine though a little regret spending so much now that I know ANY Qi standard charger will work with my new iPhone and there’s just no need to spend a lot on these wireless chargers. Much cheaper ones are out there that are Qi compliant and if Qi it just works fine. This one has one design flaw- the bottom lip is too slim so in its case the iPhone won’t always easily stay on the ledge and may slip off, falling down and losing its wireless charging connection.

Pros: feels solid, looks high end, works exactly as expected, excellent durability to cable, and USB-C connector VERY tightly snapped into the MacBook Pro power block.
Cons: leaving magnet side "stub" plugged into MacBook isn't ideal for aesthetics and poses risk of being banged, perhaps damaging USB-C female connector; no little light to indicate charging.
