We finally get "Live at the Hollywood Bowl" on CD...and the wait was worth it. Especially since modern technology could improve the sound (and tone the screaming to an acceptable level). The music is kicking, practically bursting out your speakers with energy and excitement. It's great to have an aural document of "Beatlemania" at it's peak !
This release collects every episode from the final season of the stylish AMC drama that follows the lives of Madison Avenue advertising executives (so-called "Mad Men") in the 1960s and 70s. The show centers on Don Draper (Jon Hamm), the brilliant creative director whose personal demons threaten to derail his career.
"Mad Men" will stand as one of the best shows in TV history. And it's ending will be remembered with those of "Newhart" and "St. Elsewhere". Plus, it looks GREAT on Blu-ray. A must buy !
The Stones' second best album (after "Exile on Main street") is made even better by the inclusion of bonus tracks- the two best which are a version of "Brown Sugar" with Eric Clapton on guitar, and a blistering rendition of "Midnight Rambler" recorded live shortly before the release of "Sticky Fingers" in 1971. Sound is wonderful also, nice and full and rich. A worthwhile purchase for any rock fan
