The movie that kicked off the updated JJ Abrams series seems to do the most of the three to attempt to respect established Star Trek cannon, though many aspects of the movie may still leave a sour taste in fans of the original series. For some reason this film is still pricey compared to both sequels.

Star Trek into Darkness is essentially a "remix" of the original Star Trek movies. I won't get into specifics as to avoid spoilers. The movie is entertaining enough, though I still dislike messing with Star Trek cannon as the new series does.

Best tablet in its class, but it will cost you

The Tab S3 is a significant upgrade to my aging Tab S. What I like most about it is the brightness and vibrant colors the 4k HDR screen produces. Downloaded Amazon and Netflix movies look great.
The four speakers seem to add a better stereo effect as well and the overall performance is snappy.
Perhaps the only negative is the price which is rather high for an Android tablet. It runs circles around the iPad and Samsung is starting to price their gadgets accordingly so now the Apple tax applies here. However with Samsung you do get a modern AMOLED screen which makes the Apple IPS screen look dull by direct comparison.
If you are in the market for a tablet and have the money to spend, the S3 is a great option and the best one in the Android and iOS market in my opinion.

The movie is a Disney classic and features ground breaking computer animation at the time. A shame that Disney continues to hamstring their art by not embracing 4k UHD/HDR format as well as insisting on a release day pricing model for all their classics. Like other titles I expect Disney to finally come around to 4k and then rake in more money by re-releasing all their films in that format at full price.
I'm only recommending it for those who are specific Disney buffs. (This was bought as a gift as I would not buy this for myself.)
