NIce upgrade from first gen I-Pad

I purchased this to replace a three year old first generation I-Pad that could not be upgraded to new software. I have been an Android smart phone user for several years though. This Tablet does have a steeper learning curve than the phone. I will say that the I-Pad is easier to operate, but I am not going to pay 650.00 dollars for a 128GB I-Pad that will be obsolete in a few years. I bought the 16 Gb Galaxy S and popped a 128 Gb card in it.
I have been using this to download pictures from my camera to the Galaxy and the screen resolution is fantastic for high megapixel still shots. and videos. However the high resolution does not help with live TV over internet or YouTube videos.

I purchased this Camera prior to a Cruise to the Canadian Maritimes. I read some of the manual on the flight to the ship. To get the most out of this camera requires some practice. I purchased the 18 x 135 Lens with the camera and this turned out to be a hot set up. I took around 900 pictures over ten days, very few were out of focus. I highly recommend this Canon T5i. I would have given 5 stars but I really did not have anything to compare it to previously.

what is the battery life between charges
Every thing effects Battery life as you know but I recently watched a one hour on demand show and used about 25% of the battery. I am sure I could have tweaked some settings and saved a little juice but with the standard settings and using the Wi-Fi four hours of video would not be horrible.

Will this help with a Samsung Galaxy 3? Converting music to stereo through my car radio. Trying to figure out if my phone has a 2.5mm jack or 3.5mm jack.
