In addition to offering seven classic music videos by the Time, Appollonia 6, and the man himself, this disc also offers audio commentary by director Albert Magnoli, producer Robert Cavallo, and cinematographer Donald E. Thorin, and three featurettes that cover the Minneapolis music scene, the making of the film, and the influence of Purple Rain on pop culture.
