Bought the unit as an open-box item and got it for a significant discount combined with a frequent buyer coupon so almost half price. Had to be careful to get unit that has Wi-Fi built in as some require cable. Unit is light, very easy to set up and recognized the local network without issue. Unit is very small (a strong plus) but also feels very plastic. Comes with some premium services built in and you can add a limited amount of others. That is nice but not needed if you have a Roku which offers a lot more options. You do need to supply your own HDMI cable to hook into the TV. Excellent graphics. No complaints after a few weeks operation other than it turns itself off after not being used for a bit; however, it comes on instantly if you press power button so actually like that feature.

This computer has worked wonderfully right out of the box. I have not used the facial recognition system and my only complaint is that the boot up process takes awhile. I am not sure whether that is due to the amount of software it loads or the processor being a little slow. We solved the problem by leaving the system on and using sleep mode rather than turning it off.

A wonderful nostalgic trip to the days of sandlot baseball played with neighborhood friends. Well paced and well-acted by an ensemble cast of kids that performs well above the level of most kidcentric movies. If your kids want to know what life was like before computers, cell phones and game systems, this is the movie for them to see. Picked this up at a great sales price from Best Buy. Terrific value.

OK but missing critical functionality

The software has a variety of options but some of the buttons and functions are hidden or don't appear unless activated. Good for backing up DVDs and capturing Youtube, etc. but does not capture many streaming services like Netflix and Amazon. No instruction booklet provided but instruction videos available online. Not sure it is worth purchasing given the same functions now offered by Real Player. Package a bit misleading since it includes a picture that appears to be a Netflix logo implying that it can be used with that service.

First, the case cover matches the phone color perfectly. Some folks thought it was part of the phone. The hardshell back is very rigid and provides a buffer so when the phone is placed on a hard surface, all contact is with the cover. The flip cover works well and stays closed due to the tension in the hinge. I was tempted to add a velcro snap to keep the cover closed but have discovered I didn't need it. Being able to answer the phone and check basic function using the dot reader (let's you see through the cover) is very helpful and handy. I paid a little more for this cover but am glad I did. I only wish the cover could be converted into a stand to prop the phone up when you open the cover as with iPad covers. Be aware that if the phone cover is closed, the media player won't play. If there is a way around this, I haven't discovered it.

Hardward is great but software needs refinement

The product performed as promised but the software has no option which permits me to save data from a server which can be accessed through the computer. The software would be much better if it let me search the network and save from any station on the network as well as from data storage which has no computer access other than by remote access.

Does my blu ray have to be connected to the internet to work ?
You can play blu ray discs without being connected to the internet but do need the connection for streaming services.

Does turning on also switch tv to the correct hemit imput on lg tv
No, you have to manually select the correct input.
