Assume pictures and Great Macro

Bought this Camera mainly for MACRO pictures. It does great job and autofocus works as it should. Have to be about 6" or more for autofocus any closer need to manual focus. Has great zoom feature and really clear long distant picture right out of the box with default settings. Love the tilting lcd screen so can hold camera in many different angles and still see what you are shooting.

Disapointing picture quaility

Purchased Camera as I have always been a Sony fan. The Camera takes worse pictures then my 8 year old digital Sony Camera. Maybe some practice and setting changes might help but when buying a point and shoot camera I expected much more for the price. My S5 takes better pictures. Returned to Store.

Does this camera use only AA batteries only?

Yes AA only but you can also get rechargeable AA if you want. I get about 1000 photos from a set of batteries
