We all done it before. You lost/broke/forget your charging cable.
I'll save you the hassle: this works for newer Apple products. It charges AND syncs these newer devices. It is a stylish white color. It is not liquid friendly. It does NOT come with the charging block/brick.
(The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is that I'm a Samsung guy, but had to buy this for my friends that are Apple people).

Sensitivity meets Style

The snowball microphones look soooo cute and stylish, yet they are so powerful. It can catch a lot of noise in the background, so watch out for that. (Thankfully, a lot of recording techniques and programs can reduce that noise nowadays.)
Is it professional quality? Almost. It's professional enough for me and my friends. Again, if not calibrated correctly, it can catch you breathing in between singing notes.
Is it portable? Somewhat. It needs to be on a table or flat surface for you to use; i.e. it is not a mic on a tripod or a stand. It's as tall as... I dunno, a large sports drink bottle? A bit more?
Is it cold like a snowball? No, next question.
Should I buy it? I bought it twice since I liked it so much. I really thought it has a cute design, and again powerful. Easy to learn and handle.
But please don't throw it around in winter. It is not friendly to windows or glass doors. It is definitely NOT a snowball.

I get tired of talk shows. Especially on long drives. I'd rather listen to a good audiobook. Which I can now do, thankfully, from the comfort of my old car that doesn't have bluetooth.
I can play it from my mp3 player or smartphone, and avoid listening to DJs rant about mundane stuff, or listen to commercials that I don't care about.
And if I tire of my audiobooks, I can listen to my music, stuff that I'd want to listen to. From my phone. via a radio.
Our founding fathers would be dumbfounded by this technology. (And feminism too, likely, now that I think about it).
(Reminder to self: look for an audiobook that exposes founding fathers to technology. And feminism.)

One can never have too many microUSB cords and chargers.
Problem is, people tend to have the wrong charger bricks. Thankfully, this one is strong enough to charge most smartphones and a lot of tablet brands. I have yet to have a friend bring a tablet that it couldn't charge...
...well, except if they brought a surface, an Apple device, or a 2 in 1 laptop. They really should know better than ask me for chargers for those...

With replacement chargers, there's sooooo many ways you can get it wrong.
I saved myself the hassle and got the brand charger that matches my laptop.. Yeah it costs a bit more, but at least if I had compatibility issues, I can run directly to the manufacturer (as opposed to some knockoff where I wouldn't even know who to call).

Best choice for a Prepaid phone

I am part of that group that shied away from the Apple phones- a cheapskate at heart that loves a phone that I can tailor to my needs.
With that in mind, the Samsung Galaxy Sol was perfect in my book. Yes, finding a case for this bad boy locally will be difficult (I ordered mine online) but the 2 times I dropped it without a case, the paint did not chip. There were no scratches, even when it fell on concrete. (Of course I was not risking that again.)
Since it is a prepaid phone, I could choose plans for what I need. There was an option to make my phone a mobile hotspot which I snatched up immediately. The speed and graphics were nice, especially for the price I chose to pay for my phone.
My fave 2 things I love about the phone are its size, and its battery life. It's not too tiny for my large fingers, and yet it can fit in my jeans pockets just fine. And it lasts longer off a charger than most other smartphones in the market.
5 stars, all the way. Best Smartphone purchase of my life.
P.S. get the insurance plan. It's a smartphone, so once the touch is gone you're doomed. But the plan covers repairs/replacement for a fraction of the cost of a new phone.
