My daughter, who is now 27 yrs old, watched this while her son was in the hospital. She loved it and was disappointed she couldn't find it on Netflix, so I gave it to her for her 27th birthday and she was tickled to add it to her collection.
I, personally, have not watched the entire movie, but saw bits of it while I was at the hospital with them and it seemed cute, so I would definitely recommend it, especially if you have a little girl. My grandson wasn't particularly interested, but then, he also is a hard one to satisfy as he has a rare condition and tends to not be open to new movies until they've been played several times.
