A creation of novelist Thomas Harris, serial killer Dr. Hannibal "The Cannibal" Lecter - a diabolical, medically-trained maniac who enjoys devouring human victims - graced several screen adaptations, three of which appear in this box set. It includes the first cinematization of Lecter, the 1986 Michael Mann film Manhunter - with William Petersen as an FBI profiler who tracks down serial killer The Tooth Fairy (Tom Noonan) using Lecter's (Brian Cox) help. The compilation also includes the 1991 box office blockbuster and Best Picture winner The Silence of the Lambs, with Jodie Foster as a young detective named Clarice Starling who gets sucked into Lecter's (Anthony Hopkins) clutches as she targets an elusive maniac known as Buffalo Bill (Ted Levine). Rounding out the set is the 2001 Lambs sequel Hannibal, where Lecter (Hopkins) - now out of prison and living in Italy as an art collector - begins to toy with Clarice's head once again, at the same time that one of the Doctor's mutilated former victims (Gary Oldman) schemes to take gory revenge against the physician.

Best remembered for containing the film debut of phenomenally popular comedian of the early '90s, Jim Carrey, Once Bitten is a horror comedy that chronicles the attempts of a bloodthirsty female vampire living in modern day Los Angeles to find the three male virgins she needs every year to stay alive and young-looking. If she cannot do it by Halloween, she will surely die.
