This game lets you have up to 8 players on the screen now which is great if you have a lot of friends who play smash. The online play is also pretty decent with relatively fast connectivity to players in other parts of the world. You can select to play for fun or for glory if you want to go all out. The story is still pretty mild but that is usually how fighting games are.

These are very solid for the price. Connectivity is good. The reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because ultimately I ended up paying twice as much to get the 80 dollar wireless sonys because I like the hollow shape of the sonys much better than the flat shape these skull candies have on the ear. The flat shape starts to push too hard on my ears after about 30 minutes. So they aren't great for extended use.

Updates to the PS Store made these cards useless

Typically when people buy these cards they do it because they want to avoid using their credit card online. They either have cash to spend or they want to keep their card from being hacked.
A lot of the games in the PS store are 19.99 or some multiple of 20. So you don't have to buy a card that is bigger than the game you are purchasing. My problem with these cards is due to an update from a few months ago that charges tax on downloadable games and content. So when I bought a 20 dollar card to use on a $19.99 game it made the price $21.40 at checkout on the PS store, but wait it's no big deal. I was happy to pay the tax with my credit card even though the point of getting the PS card was mute at that point since I ended up needing to use my credit card online anyway, but THEN when I went to pay the 1.40 tax the PS store only allowed me to pay a minimum of $5 into my PS wallet forcing me to leave extra money on my account. If I had only used my credit card it would have let me pay the exact amount of 21.40 but because I used a credit card and a PS card it made me put extra money into limbo because of a pointless rule.
Summary: There is no point in using PS cards for anyone that doesn't want to pay extra into their PS wallet and leave money lying around or buy a much bigger PS card than necessary. The only people I imagine this is good for is people who want a safe way of letting their child buy games on PS store at will and don't mind the extra money sitting in the wallet because they are giving them another card soon anyway and it's chump change to them.

I got this game for me and my girlfriend. She doesn't play video games usually and she still really enjoyed playing this while I watched. It's a great game to go through with a friend because you can help each other decide what decisions to make that impact the outcome of the game. The controls are a pretty simple so new gamers can pick it up easily. There's plenty of creepy, tense moments as well as a solid mix of jump scares. The story is also interesting to follow as you go along and find clues.

Works with my Yeti mic, tall and sturdy

This mic stand fits my yeti mic (5/8 inch thread) right out of the box and is very sturdy and weighted so it has no trouble holding the yeti which is considered a heavier mic. The end cap with threads on it that fit the yeti can be taken off to reveal a smaller set of threads for smaller microphones.
I can set the stand to have the mic anywhere from my belly level to above my head by a foot. I'm 5' 10".
I use this stand to record myself singing while playing acoustic guitar. Boom stands are great for guitar playing because they can get the mic between the face hole and the guitar hole.

This tripod is very light and compact. I wouldn't recommend using it in strong winds outdoors but that goes for every tripod in this price range. It's very easy to set up in my small apartment so that I can record myself playing guitar standing up. If I stand about 3 feet away from the tripod with it fully extended I can easily get my face and guitar in the shot.

This tripod is compatible with most cameras and camcorders for wide-ranging use.
Is this tripod good for video also? My son will be taking pictures and videos with a rebel t5i. Just looking for a starter, we can always upgrade later if necessary.
It's good for video if you don't need to turn the camera angle during shooting a lot. It doesn't swivel very fluidly.
