It is always gratifying to find something humorous about politics, especially in an election year. This romantic comedy has excellent acting with Michael Keaton and Geena Davis playing the romantic leads: Political speechwriters for opposing candidates. The plot is well written and moves along crisply, keeping the movie from bogging down.

I enjoyed this movie. It had an interesting premise (enforcement of the "rules" of life & death), good special effects, and a good mix of humor and action. The acting by Ryan Reynolds and Jeff Bridges kept it fresh. Unfortunately, the plot was rather predictable.
Bottom line, though, its fun a worth a look.

Nice big screen - but slow processor

The larger size screen allows for easier reading and other applications like games, etc. There is a learning curve as the functions differ from previous kindle devices much as different versions of Windows do.
My concern is that there are so many applications always running, that the processor struggles. There are slow-downs and screen lock-ups that are very annoying and inconvenient, even if they don't prevent acceptable usage.

Another outstanding Bond film

Other than the forgettable opening title song, this movie continues with the excellent action and acting characterized by almost all of the movies in the James Bond series. Daniel Craig continues to pull off a great Bond. My only regret is that the main villain was portrayed by the same actor that played Moriarty in the Sherlock Holmes BBC shows - I felt he had to be the villain of the piece from the moment I saw him. Still, his acting, too, was excellent and lent power to this film.
