The firetv does and excellent job for what it does and at the price is the best value per dollar for as full-size streamer. I especially liked the I didn't require and cabinet top space, freely hang off the HDMI port.
What I wish the firetv ad is the ability to connect headphones to the remote as you can do with some ROKU units. I would also like to know ahead of time if I am going to be charged for an app/service. The subscription process in one step and it should be two steps. This is not an issue with /Roku.

I have several Roku units and have never had an issue, however, I was unable to get the premiere+ to work properly. Customer support from Roku was non-existent so after a few weeks I returned the item

Overall this unit does exactly what it should. The vibrations run from a moderate to a high speed and helps to work out the most difficult knots in my shoulders and back. I'm a little disappoint in the heating feature as it just doesn't seem to heat up to a temp of any value
