Apple is making you buy a multi-port attachment if you want to connect to peripherals. The Apple logo on top of cover does not light up when on. The screen does not rotate 360 degrees nor does it have a touchscreen like others. Apple keeps raising their prices and giving you less. Competitors like Dell have caught up to Apple with lower prices. This is a good little laptop but you can buy a comparable one for less money.

Does the macbook air come with any kind of warranty? If I wanted to buy applecare late can I? Or do I have to purchase it when I purchase computer?
Talk to BB customer service at your local store. I did not get Apple Care because it is expensive and never needed it with any of our MacBooks. I think the warranty is 1 year through Apple. You get free Beats headphones if you buy from Apple directly, but I ended up buying from BB using their card and 12 month free financing.
