Purchased this microwave for the office. It's perfect!
I have no clue what these people were thinking. I really wanted to see this in the theater and never made it. I bought it myself for my own collection. Now granted, I have some terrible movies, and this joined that small group.
Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski, the screenwriting team who penned Ed Wood, The People vs. Larry Flynt, and Man on the Moon, made their debut as directors with this broad comedy. Norm MacDonald stars as a chauffeur who decides to get revenge on his wealthy boss by kidnapping her dog. Produced under the titles Pittsburgh, Ballbusted, and Foolproof, Screwed also stars Danny De Vito, Dave Chappelle, Sherman Helmsley, Elaine Stritch, and Sarah Silverman.

I saw this movie on cable one day and I thought I would pass out from laughing so hard. This movie is well put together, has a nice quality cast, and some hilarious scenes. This movie would lift anyone's spirits easily.
There's a killer on the loose hunting down a group of snowboarders in Greg Huson's Shredder, which comes to DVD with a pair of transfers. The widescreen anamorphic transfer preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.78:1, and is preferable to the standard full-frame image. The English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital Stereo. English and Spanish subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials include deleted scenes and outtakes. This is a fine title from MGM/UA.

This movie is great for someone who is afraid to watch horror movies. This doesn't have a lot of gore in it, but is entertaining to watch.
Prepare for a imaginative tale of terror that will have your flesh crawling as budding filmmaker Sheldon Wilson brings his intimate and unique take on the apocalypse to DVD courtesy of Screen Media Films. Presented in 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen, the feature looks absolutely fantastic for a film of such low-budget origins -- sporting a sharp transfer that boasts vivid colors and little evidence of digital artifacting. Audio is presented in closed-captioned English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround with optional Spanish subtitles and features an even mix of dialogue and music enhanced by the occasional effective and well-placed directional effect. A director's commentary track with Wilson provides a first-hand account of the making of Shallow Ground, and an additional behind-the-scenes featurette offers a closer look at the special effects and music of the film.
