VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE FINAL PERSON SENT OUT!

I ended up dealing with 4 different GEEK people. 3 men first, and then a woman. I AM NOT A FEMINIST!!!!! I love men and like having doors opened for me, etc., but in this case the woman kecked butt on the 3 men! I purchased a "SONY 4K UltraHD TV and a SONY sound-bar. Geek squad could not get the SPECTRUM remote to control the sound-bar until they sent out a woman on their 4th try and she did it in literally 5 minutes! The boys need to go back to school!!!!

We still purchased a SONY, but just a better one. We never could get the subwoofer working, even with the help of SONY tech support. When I went to purchase another remote, as the GEEK squad person could not make it all work via our cable remote, I discovered that this unit is so old that the remotes are no longer available - ANYWHERE! We wanted the most recent technology in our sound-bar system to go with our new TV. Ended up with a newer model, still from SONY, as my husband thinks it is better to stay with one brand, and the new one is good.

I am absolutely amazed at just how great this TV is! There are times when it looks like you are seeing 10-12 FEET into the back of the TV scene - AMAZING! The clarity is wonderful, the evenness of the brightness is amazing, the sharpness is amazing...., what more can I say? GEEK Squad set it up and they were great, too. Don't let your installer tell you that they cannot set your cable remote to control the TV and/or sound bar volume, too. The first 2 men out could not do it, but (because we had issues with our sound-bar system) the 3rd GEEK Squad person, a lady, got it done in 2 minutes!

It is okay, but not great. I did not want Windows 8 - too new - probems! The keyboard is not raised at the back enough - feels just like my laptop, which I do not like to type on. The mouse is also a little slow on responses. REALLY DID NOT LIKE THAT MY 2 YEAR OLD HP PRINTER WOULD NOT WORK WITH IT, AND NO PATCHES AVAILABLE FROM HP!!!! REALLY ?!?!? I stay HP so things work together well, and now they refuse to put out a patch so the printer will work with this computer - not cool!!!! I had to go buy a new printer when there wan nothing wrong with the old one except that HP did not provide a path for it's drivers.
What's great about it: Screen
What's not so great: Some conflicts with old programs, i.e. ADOBE Reader!
