I previously had the iPhone 6s before I upgraded to the 7Plus and was concerned that there would be little to no difference besides the size.
I was wrong, the new iPhone is incredibly fast and the camera is tack sharp. I really love the portrait mode and for some reason watching TV shows look better on my new phone than my 5K iMac.

I already have an Xbox One S and tried an Amazon Fire TV stick for a day, but nothing comes close to the ease of use of the Apple TV.
Yes the Xbox One S offers 4K and yes the FireTV was very affordable, but with the Apple TV it is the amazing user interface which makes watching TV easy and reliable.
If you are investing in a streaming device, spend a little more, you won't be disappointed.

Will the EERO system work with Mediacom cable internet? We have trouble with the cable-company provided modem frequently; was hoping this would make my high speed internet high speed AND reliable.
The EERO system works with all internet providers but you would still need a reliable modem as the EERO system is just a router.
I suggest also buying a AARIS modem that is compatible with your provider.

Error work with ATT UVERSE ?????
I'm assuming you are asking if the EERO works with ATT U-Verse.
As long as you have an Ethernet port from your modem, there is no reason why the EERO would not work with any provider.
I would however suggest logging into your existing router and turning off wifi to avoid conflicts with the wifi signal.
