When I do get valid alerts, the video I get most often is people back at the curb getting into a vehicle (after they rang the bell, waited, and left). I know there are handshake and signalling times, but the system overall typically isn't fast enough for real life. For background info, I'm on a 100mb network, and speedtest at my front door shows ~50mb. Overall, meh.

I bought this kit and added some GE paddle light switches and additional multipurpose (door) sensors. Most of the time it is nice and useful, but we've had random issues. Sometimes the event-driven actions (mostly time based) randomly don't run. It can be slow to disarm when you arrive home, so I suggest making your home geo-fence bigger. This morning, we were awoken to an alarm that there was a door intrusion, but nothing was wrong. It is useful, but not reliable. Use it for non-critical home automation.
