The movie is great! Love the action sequences, and flair.
Please do NOT buy this if you have iTunes and want to use the digital copy. The Ultraviolet digital copy is a huge run around.-Ultraviolet is NOT iTunes compatible AND the usual way to get around this, using a Flixster app, is useless since Flixster does not have a contract with Paramount Pictures. Some claim that Flixster will correct this by sending you an iTunes copy- but I contacted them and was told they "don't do that".
If you want a digital copy that works with iTunes, please buy it from iTunes. Don't make my mistake!

What's great about it: Well paced, action thriller
What's not so great: Digital Copy is useless on iTunes

Easily one of the best...

This is easily one of the best westerns ever made. It contains all of the rich themes and tensions of traditional westerns. Of course the plot is fairly standard, but the screenplay is smart and their is not a dishonest moment in any of the performances. As with any good western the cinematography is excellent- use of colors, panaramas, framing are all great. Be warned: it is a movie about characters, not action and contains heavy themes about justice, violence, and guns. It also has something to say about alcohol use/abuse and, oh yeah, forgiveness. The duality of the main character may be a little too much for some, but for me it makes a great character. If you buy only one western to own- this would be a good choice.
I would recommend this to a friend!
