i use it in my car as i have a 30 minute commute to work everyday and get tired of cds. i connect it to my stereo via an aux cord and there is no problem with that. the shuffle sucks as it repeats the same songs each time i power on the device. independently, the speaker on the device needs to be greatly improved as with outside noise it is barely heard. i got this as an alternative to switching cds in my car constantly and i'm glad i only paid $30 for it, but it isn't worth the $30 i did pay for it.
